Who we are
Close More Deals, LLC is a custom software and web development company based in Peoria, AZ, in the Phoenix metro. The firm operates publicly as Kickass Websites and brings that same engineering practice to federal agencies and the prime contractors who support them.
We focus on what we do well: designing, building, securing, and maintaining web applications and websites to professional, accessible, standards-based engineering quality. Our small size is a feature—clients work directly with senior engineers, decisions are fast, and AI-accelerated delivery lets us compress timelines and cost without cutting corners on security or quality.
Founder
Close More Deals was founded by Steve Halverson in 2018, building on software development experience dating to 2008. A U.S. Navy submarine veteran, Halverson served aboard the fast attack submarine USS Portsmouth (SSN-707), where his service was recognized with the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Meritorious Unit Commendation, and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. The precision and accountability that submarine service demands are the same standards he brings to every system the firm builds.

Veteran-owned (certification in process)
Close More Deals, LLC is a veteran-owned small business. Our Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) certification is in process through the U.S. Small Business Administration's VetCert program. We will update this page when certification is granted; until then we represent the status honestly as pending.
Where we work
We are based in Peoria, AZ (Phoenix metro) and serve clients across the Phoenix metropolitan area, plus remote delivery nationwide (CONUS). Engagements are delivered on-site within the Phoenix metropolitan area and remotely for clients anywhere in the continental United States.
